Steam processing hardens the grain before milling, which sharply reduces breakage and produces an exceptionally clean, uniform white rice. The treatment preserves aroma while making the rice more forgiving to cook - it is difficult to turn sticky. A dependable all-rounder for daily meals.

Rinse two to three times until the water runs clear, then soak for 20-30 minutes. Use a 1 : 1.5 rice-to-water ratio for white basmati and 1 : 2 for brown rice. Bring to a boil, then reduce to the lowest heat, cover and leave undisturbed for 12-15 minutes. Rest off the heat for five minutes before fluffing with a fork.
Storage
Keep the pack sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, transfer to an airtight container. Stored correctly, our rice keeps its aroma for 12 months and remains safe to eat well beyond that.
